AluHydrate

AluHydrate is a dried technical grade aluminium hydroxide Al(OH)₃ with a moist content below 0.02%. It offers an efficient, cost-effective and sustainable solution. Aluminium hydroxide is a raw material used in the production of a wide range of aluminium-based chemical products.

AluSpar

AluSpar is a cost-effective and sustainable metspar grade alternative to fluorspar. It is produced from precipitated calcium fluoride (CaF₂) with specifications adaptable to the customer’s needs. It offers reliable performance for various industrial applications, including cement production.

AluSilica

AluSilica is an amorphous, technical-grade silica, commonly applied in the fertilizer industry. It is also used in cement production, water treatment coagulant manufacturing, and other processes.

Sustainability measures

Our operations use biogas and renewable electricity. Alufluor have invested in state-of-the-art heat- and water recovery systems and we produce zero solid waste.

AluSilica plays a key role in enabling our circular approach. The product supports de-fluorination, as part of our sustainability chain, where we collaborate with fertilizer producers to repurpose their fluorosilicic acid, a byproduct that becomes our main fluorine source for aluminium fluoride production. AluSilica is a crucial part of the circular setup at Alufluor.

The raw material for AluHydrate is responsibly sourced from trusted aluminium hydroxide and arrives at Alufluor to be processed into the final product. Our drying technology uses renewable fuel and is equipped with a heat recovery system for optimal energy efficiency.

By using recycled fluorine, AluSpar avoids environmental impacts from mining virgin fluorine ore, instead utilizing fluorine from a fertilizer production by-product. Read more about our sustainability measures here.
