Our technology

The main raw materials are fluosilicic acid and aluminium hydroxide. Fluosilicic acid is a by-product from other industries. For that reason recycling is natural for Alufluor.
Alternative processes use mined fluorspar instead of fluosilicic acid.
Alufluor has chosen the more environmentally friendly production process with fluosilicic acid. Our product is the result of many years of continuous development of both process and technique. You can rely on us both with regards to quality as to capacity.

The complex production can be divided into three main steps:
- In the first step we produce silicic dioxide.
- The next step gives aluminium fluoride which after final treatment can be divided into different quality fractions depending on the application it is intended for.
- In the final step calcium fluoride is produced.
