The company

Alufluor is one of the the world's leading producers and suppliers of aluminium fluoride for the primary aluminium smelters.
In order to gain plus-values from our special process we are also marketing two other products from our production line, silicic dioxide and calcium fluoride. Moreover, we market different qualities of aluminium fluoride for other applications.

Alufluor belongs to two groups of companies with worldwide activities, Alcan Holdings Switzerland AG, Switzerland and Kemira GrowHow AB, Helsingborg, Sweden.

Alufluor AB was founded in 1973, with the main objective to take care of by-products from other chemical process industries and, with these as raw materials, to produce aluminium fluoride. From the start, recycling has been the basic idea for our company and our environmental engagement has not become less during the years.

Both headquarter and production facilities are situated in Helsingborg. Our turnover is about 150 Mio SEK and the number of employees is 50.
